All four of the following CRRES data sets were obtained from the Virtual Magnetospheric Observatory (VMO) Data Repository with open access rights hosted by IGPP/UCLA. These level-2 processed data sets are presented here as plain ASCII text files with the original SPASE metadata sheets.

The data were placed here as back-ups and were made available in unzipped ftp folders for easier access in Autoplot.

1. CRRES Ephemeris Data

Here is the SPASE metadata sheet.

Here is the CRRES ephemeris data at five minute resolution separated by orbit starting with orbit 190 and ending with orbit 1067 in plain ASCII text format.

Here is the tarball containing all of the ephemeris data for easy download.

2. CRRES Magnetic Field Data

2.1. Two Second Resolution

This data set is in Veicle Dipole Horizon (VDH) Coordinates.

Here is the CRRES magnetic field data at two second resolution separated by orbit starting with orbit 190 and ending with orbit 1067 in plain ASCII text format.

Here is the tarball containing all of the two second resolution magnetic field data for easy download.

2.2. Thirty Second Resolution

This data set is in a modified GSE coordinate system where the x-axis is aligned with the CRRES spin axis which is about 12 degrees away from the Sun-Earth line in the ecliptic plane.

3. CRRES Electric Field Data

This data set is in a modified GSE coordinate system where the x-axis is aligned with the CRRES spin axis which is about 12 degrees away from the Sun-Earth line in the ecliptic plane.
