This page is under development. We are looking into the possibility of improving the accessibility of these data.

1 MEA

Magnetic Electron Spectrometer

Some metadata: http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/nmc/experimentDisplay.do?id=1990-065A-10

Data: ftp://nssdcftp.gsfc.nasa.gov/spacecraft_data/crres/particle_mea/

Data (1-minute resolution): http://cdaweb.gsfc.nasa.gov/pre_istp/data/radiation_private/crres/mea/1991/crres_h0_mea_19911009_v01.cdf or ftp://virbo.org/tmp/crres_h0_mea_19911009_v01.cdf

Data: (Original data files from Vampola via O'Brien. Contents are similar to that at NSSDC. Includes MATLAB readers) ftp://virbo.org/obrien/crres/

2 HEEF

High-Energy Electron Fluxmeter

Some metadata: http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/nmc/experimentDisplay.do?id=1990-065A-09

Data: ftp://nssdcftp.gsfc.nasa.gov/spacecraft_data/crres/particle_heef/

HEEF ISPT CDF files using a better temperature correction will be available soon at http://craterre.onecert.fr/home.html. The revised data has been processed so that there is an improvement in the MEA and HEEF comparison, where the two overlap in energy.

3 Notes

  • ARFL and Aerospace instrument data is good.
  • Agency tapes contain everything. don't try to read them.
  • MICS (on ftp site, not high priority)
  • Reiner can read mag field into papco.
